On a legendary trail ... ...

We explore this predicate trail with its two unique landscapes. We first climb up the fabled Sickinger Höhe whose namesake Ritter  Franz von Sickingen to 1523 lived at the castle of Nanstein in Landstuhl and whose landscape has been heavily influenced by the use of mills. From above we look down on the mystical Westricher Moorniederung. Unspoilt grasslands, silent forests, bizarre rock formations, wild canyons and sunlit views are just waiting for us. The Sagenhafte Waldpfad can be started on from a number of starting points. Depending on your condition, there are various trail lengths, whether clockwise or anticlockwise being immaterial.

The Black Tour is the most difficult of the 3 routes in the Nordic Walking active center in Lambsborn. You can really let off steam on the 9.5 km route.

We can expect short and long climbs, flat routes combined with great views and varied landscapes.

You can keep your body fit on three DSV-certified routes. There are easy (blue), medium (red) and difficult (black) stages. The routes are networked with each other, so that you can put together your own training program according to your mood and day.

Whether in summer or winter: outdoor training at the Nordic Walking active center in Lambsborn is a pleasant change. Training is easy here!
