The barbecue area with a log cabin is located at the "Herzerkopf" and can be rented for all kinds of celebrations. The use of the barbecue area or the log cabin is in consultation with the club chairman John Hemm. The usage fee is 20 Euro per day. In agreement, additional sets can be claimed. A fixed grill is not available, it must be brought along.

The community hall ("the guud Stubb") can be rented for private celebrations.
The "guud Stubb" consists of two rooms. In addition to the meeting room with space for about 80 people, it a fully equipped kitchen. Tables and chairs are available.
The use of the community hall is in consultation with the local mayor. The usage fee of the multipurpose hall amounts to 200 Euro per day, for citizens from Kottweiler-Schwanden 150 Euro, for a memorial ceremony 100 Euro.

Kottweiler path crossing in the forest „Ameisenwald“, park bench next to large sandstone
Short description
Around the turn of the 19th/20th century, the woodcutter Michael Holzhauser acted as the forestry master of Kottweiler. He had a legendary reputation and was already an institution in the community.
In 1912, the community had an attentive idea to honor his 60th birthday: On the same spot where Michael Holzhauser passed by almost every day and used to take a rest, a memorial stone was built: the 'Michelsruhe'.
